Chieftains see matches go to opponents in quad

Lake Holcombe’s volleyball program started slow, with opening week jitters, but rebounded to make a good showing in their away quad at Boyceville.

Aug. 25, vs. Spring Valley non-conference (L 2-0)

Spring Valley was the first opponent on the night, with Lake Holcombe dropping the bouts, 25-12 and 25-18.

“There were some ‘first match of the season’ jitters in the match against Spring Valley,” said coach Beth Meddaugh.
