With good weather every other day, it’s been difficult to get any practice, let alone matches in, outdoors on the golf course. Luckily for the Cornell-Lake Holcombe team, a home meet April 21, fell on one of the good days.

Despite wet and muddy conditions on the still drying course, the Knights players didn’t fare too badly for their first outing of the season.

During the conference match, junior Elliott Peterson scored 82, while junior Olivia Keiser carded a 75.

“They both were excited to have played in their first match and recognized some areas that we need to work on before our varsity match Thursday,” said coach Megan Bitney. “We are also excited to welcome Max Sauerwein to the team.”
