Cadott hits bulleye for first place at State shoot

Competing at the State National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Tournament March 26, in Wausau, the Cadott archers hit the bulleye for first place out of 12 teams.

Notching the highest score of the day, was senior Tad Weiss, who shot a score of 288, placing first for the 12th grade boys. Junior Kyle Seiberling also had a score of 288, coming in third.

Freshman Emma Romanowski and junior Garrett Nerdrum were right behind, each ending with 286, with Romanowski placing first and Nerdrum finishing for fourth. Following that up, was junior Julia Sedlacek, who scored 285, for second.

Scoring a 283, was sophomore Adam Evanson, who came in second in his grade level for the boys. Juniors LaRhea Christenson and Jerika Drangstveit shot for a score of 282 each, with Christenson placing third and Drangstveit placing fourth.

Coming up with 280 and a fourth place finish, was freshman Trenten Schimmel, while juniors Peter Weir and Michael Romanowski also shot for 280, placing sixth and seventh, respectively. Sophomore Aubree Foldy came next, with a score of 278, ranking fifth, while senior Ethan Foldy also recorded a 278, placing third.

Sophomore Katlynn Jackson and senior Kamryn Poehls each shot for 277, with Jackson ending in sixth and Poehls placing second. Junior Angel Hladilek came in eighth, scoring a 275, followed by freshman Brooklyn Hrdlicka, with 273 and a third place rank.

Sophomore Gavin Huber shot for 271 and sixth place, with senior Kaleb Sonnentag just behind, with 270 and sixth place. Freshman Adrianna Goodman followed that up with a 269 and sixth place. Freshman Brock Nesvacil recorded a score of 265, as did sophomore Connor Roth, for 12th place and ninth, respectively.

Max Kisling, sophomore, then shot a 262, for 10th, with freshman Rilei Weeks also coming up with 262, for 14th.

Freshman Ewan Weir then added a 257, ending in 16th, followed by freshman Logan Wand, who had 256, for 17th. Sophomore Raul Cuahua came in 11th, with a 255, and sophomore Alex Jackson had 252, for a rank of 12th.

Freshman Kasey Moldrem ended with a score of 242, for 20th, while freshman Joseph Klukas had 237 and came in 22nd. Senior Jazlyn Wooley then shot a 227, placing 10th, and sophomore Braden Denzine had 224, for 17th.
