Hornets come up a little short against the Wolves

In the opening round of WIAA Regional action March 1, the Cadott boys basketball program headed to Elmwood-Plum City as the No. 12 seed in their bracket. Facing off against the No. 5 Wolves, it would be a battle for Cadott right from the start.

The Hornets fell behind in the first quarter, going into halftime trailing by 23 points. Cadott stepped up their offense in the second half of the game, but couldn’t catch up to the Wolves.

In the end, with their large lead from the first half, Elmwood-Plum City took the win, 81-52, elminating Cadott from the playoffs and ending their season.
