Hornets can’t get past Macks and Cardinals

Two tough opponents awaited the Cadott boys basketball team, in West Cloverbelt Conference matches.

Feb. 18 vs. McDonell conference (L 67-48)

On a night filled with high winds and snow squalls, McDonell came to call on Cadott. The first half got away from the Hornets, with the Macks up by 16 at halftime. Cadott’s offense woke up in the second half, making it a close contest.

But, with the deficit from the first half of the game, McDonell went home with a 67-48 win.
