Cornell makes progress in the conference games

Cornell’s girls basketball program was ready to play, as two conference foes were on the week’s schedule.

Jan. 18 vs. Bruce conference (L 52-50)

First up, was Bruce, who came to visit on the Chiefs’ home court. In the first half, scoring was evenly matched, with Cornell taking a slim three-point lead into the break.

Things would go much the same way in the second half, but Bruce held the advantage in scoring. Cornell saw the game slip away as time ran out and the Raiders took the win, 52-50.
