Lechleitner reaches 1,000th point in high school career

It’s something that every basketball player dreams of and in front of her home fans Dec. 17, Lake Holcombe senior Brooke Lechleitner reached that dream, scoring her 1,000th high school point.

Lechleitner thought she wasn’t going to make 1,000 that night, but when warm-ups started, she knew it was going to be a good game.

“I was determined to make it tonight for sure,” said Lechleitner.
