Hornets can’t snatch game from Cardinals

The Cadott boys basketball program headed to Thorp, Dec. 21, for a West Cloverbelt Conference battle.

In the first half, the Hornets started out slow, with Thorp taking a seven point lead into the break. By the second half, Cadott righted themselves and outscored the Cardinals, but it wasn’t quite enough to come away with a victory.

“First half shots were not falling, but we regrouped and played a great second half,” said coach Dusty Burish, “but just couldn’t hold the lead we had in the second half.”
