Cadott stomps over the Crickets in close game

Coming up with yet another win on the season, the Cadott girls basketball program acted as host to the nearby visitors, the Fall Creek Crickets, for a Dec. 21 game.

The Cloverbelt Conference clash started with the Hornets taking a 20-10 lead into halftime, but the Crickets weren’t going down without a fight. Cadott managed to sneak past Fall Creek by a hair, taking a 40-37 win, with contributions from all around on the Hornets team.

“It was an exciting game,” said coach Dave Hazuga. “This was a really good home conference win for us.”
