Lake Holcombe splits the week’s games on the road

Both of Lake Holcombe’s games were away over the week, for the boys basketball squad, with one victory and one loss coming to the Chieftains.

Dec. 3 vs. Birchwood conference (W 80-46)

“We were down two varsity players, due to injury before tip-off on Friday, but the boys came to play,” said coach Joy Webster.

And play they did, as Lake Holcombe made the trek to Birchwood.The Chieftains outscored the Bobcats 40-20 in the first half and the score looked much the same in the second. It was Lake Holcombe in the end, taking an 80-46 victory home with them.
