Hornets come up just short against Ramblers

Hosting the Regis Ramblers Dec. 3, the Cadott girls basketball program very nearly pulled off the win in the conference match-up.

The Hornets started slow in the first half, with the offense not there. By halftime, the score stood 26-14, in favor of Regis.

“We knew it was going to be a tough game,” said coach Dave Hazuga.

Cadott righted their offense in the second half, putting up 30 points on the board, while holding the Ramblers to just 23. However, the Hornets fell just shy of bringing in the win and Regis went home with a 49-44 victory.
