Hornets pin Lancers in the opening game

By Ginna Young

The Cadott girls basketball program picked up right where it left off, heading to an away game against E.C. Immanuel Nov. 16. The Hornets shut down the home team’s scoring, taking a 40-13 lead into halftime.

The Lancers fared better in the second half, putting up 20 points on the board, but Cadott kept up the scoring, adding another 35 points to their cushion, to take the non-conference match-up, 75-33.

“It’s good to get off to a good start, we’re working to build our identity and chemistry on both sides of the floor,” said coach Dave Hazuga.
