In a large field of runners, Cadott cross country athlete Peter Weir took his turn on the Wisconsin Rapids course Oct. 30, as part of the WIAA Division 3 State meet. With 149 runners on the boys side, the junior Weir make good time on the course, but fell shy of making podium.
“Well, yesterday didn’t turn out like planned,” said coach Tom Weiss. “Peter will be the first to tell you he wasn’t on top of his game, performance wise.”
This was Weir’s first trip to the State meet, in his three years of varsity performance.
