Weir places high as conference champion

The Cadott cross country team took on a large field for the Cloverbelt Conference meet Oct. 16, with many personal bests for the Hornets.

“Teams ran very well on a difficult course,” said coach Tom Weiss.

For the boys’ side, junior Peter Weir was ahead of the pack, the way he has been all season, coming in third, with a time of 17:30.7. Coming in next for Cadott, was freshman Wyatt Wellner in 43rd (21:22.5), followed by freshman Ewan Weir in 49th (21:42).
