Lake Holcombe unable to overcome the Falcons

In their last match-up before the playoffs begin, Lake Holcombe’s volleyball team headed to Flambeau Oct. 14. The Chieftains got off to a slow start, dropping the first sets, 25-16 and 25-17.

Lake Holcombe rallied in the third set to put a scare into Flambeau, but the Falcons held on to win the third set, 25-22.

“We would have liked to end the conference season with a win, but there were some good things happening in this match,” said coach Beth Meddaugh.
