Hornets come up short against Glenwood City

Homecoming night turned out warm in unseasonable weather, as the Cadott football program hosted Glenwood City Oct. 1.

To start off the scoring, junior Tristan Drier threw a 27- yard pass completion to set up senior Ryan Sonnentag for a touchdown. Junior Peter Weir knocked in the extra point kick and Cadott was up 7-0.

Glenwood City answered back with a touchdown of their own and the score was tied at 7-7. That’s the way it would stay until the third quarter, when Glenwood City scored two touchdowns and a field goal.
