Hornets sting Lakers for the last minute win

It was a good night for the Cadott football team at home, as they went up against conference opponent Turtle Lake, Sept. 17.

The Hornets struck first, with a touchdown coming after a hand-off from junior Tegan Ritter and an extra point kick from junior Peter Weir. Turtle Lake answered right back, with a touchdown of their own and a two-point conversion, to go up 8-7.

In the second quarter, the Hornets were held to a field goal, with the 36-yard kick good from Weir. Turtle Lake put up points first in the third quarter, with a touchdown, to send the score to 14-10 in favor of the Lakers.
