Hornets can’t get past the Boyceville offense

In their second game of the season, the Cadott football program traveled to Boyceville, for a conference match-up Sept. 3. The visiting team got on the scoreboard first, with an 86-yard kick-off return by Ryan Sonnentag, for a touchdown. An extra point kick by junior Peter Weir and the Hornets were up 7-0 over Boyceville.

However, Boyceville answered back, with three touchdowns in the first quarter, to take a 22-7 lead over Cadott. Boyceville scored another touchdown in the second, but so did Cadott, after a 10-yard touchdown pass from sophomore Jordan Peters to Sonnentag.
