Chieftains defense can’t stave off Owen-Withee

It seemed Mother Nature was dead set against a dry Friday night for football, as Lake Holcombe hosted the first home game of the season Sept. 3. In a wet and misty atmosphere, the Chieftains played host to Owen-Withee, where some early mistakes led to turnovers.
Owen-Withee scored twice early on in the first half, but Lake Holcombe rallied to add a touchdown rush from junior quarterback Max Sauerwein.
