Chieftains drop close one

In wet, muddy conditions, the Lake Holcombe Chieftains Football program headed out Aug. 27, for a match-up against Thorp. Neither team got on the board in the first quarter, but by the second, the Cardinals had a 6-0 lead.

That would be all for the scoreboard and Thorp handed the Chieftains an opening-season loss, 6-0.
