It was off to Owen for an invitational at Meadowview Golf Course, where the Hornets ended the day in fifth place out of 10 teams.
Junior Jacob Ackley ended the day with a score of 44 and also claimed longest drive honors. Junior Sam Scheidler also carded a 44. Senior Cole Sopiarz and junior Ethan Foldy were right behind, scoring 46.
“Again, we were without Peter Weir, so we only had four golfers,” said coach Scott Christenson. “Looking forward to Thursday, when we will have all five of our golfers.”
