Christenson hits bullseye in National Archery event

In a virtual archery shoot over the May 8 weekend, the Cadott team saw great success in the National event, as the high school team not only finished eighth out of 247 teams, but watched sophomore LaRhea Christenson take first place in her division (out of 781 competitors).
She also shot her way to first in the high school girls category and second place in overall girls score, with a score of 297.
Sophomore Garrett Nerdrum also shot for the Hornets, earning 22nd out of 852 archers, with a score of 291, while freshman Adam Evanson was 32nd, scoring 286. Sophomore Peter Weir also ended with 86, finishing in 57th place.
Julia Sedlacek, sophomore, shot a score of 285, with 35th place, and junior Kaleb Sonnentag, came in 51st, also scoring a 285. Sophomore Angel Hladilek ended in 46th place, scoring 284.
Junior Kamryn Poehls came in 66th, with a score of 283 and rounding out the Hornets archers around the top 100, was junior Tad Weiss, shooting a 281, for 101st.
