Chieftains attack Warriors

The Lake Holcombe boys basketball program hit the road Jan. 5, taking on the Winter Warriors in an East Lakeland Conference battle. Coming off the holiday break, the Chieftains played a solid game.

“There were some great assists,” said coach Joy Webster.

In the first half, Lake Holcombe outscored Winter, 40-20, taking a comfortable lead into halftime. The Chieftains knew they couldn’t let up and continued their scoring into the second half.
