Board of Education School District of Cadott Community High School LMC Organizational Meeting May 11, 2020 The following members were present: Donna Albarado, Brad Sonnentag, Becca Blanchette, Alan Sonnentag, Cedric Boettcher, Mark Schley and Rod Tegels.

Also present were: Jenny Starck, Sue Shakal, Julia Wolf, Karita Harvey, Mary Balko, Robin Strzyzewski, Meagan Sonnentag, Pat Mulcahy, Christina Rowe, Susan Schley and Nate Schley.

Mr. Tegels called the organizational meeting to order at 7 p.m.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag nominated Mr. Tegels as the organizational meeting chairperson. Seconded by Mr. Schley. Motion carried.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag nominated Mr. Tegels as board president.

Mr. Boettcher nominated Mr. Alan Sonnentag as board president.

Mr. Tegels elected board president by paper ballot.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag nominated Mr. Alan Sonnentag as vice president.

Seconded by Mr. Schley.

Mr. Alan Sonnentag elected by anonymous vote.

Mr. Boettcher nominated Mrs. Albarado for clerk.

Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag.

Mrs. Albarado elected clerk by anonymous vote.

Mr. Boettcher nominated Mr. Schley as treasurer.

Seconded by Mr. Tegels.

Mr. Schley elected treasurer by anonymous vote.

Mr. Boettcher motioned to bond Mr. Schley as treasurer.

Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag.

Motion carried 7-0, roll call vote.

Mr. Schley motioned to designate Cadott Citizens State Bank as the depository for school district funds during the fiscal year July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020. Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to designate Cadott Citizens State Bank as the source of short-term loans and a line of credit during fiscal year July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020. Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mr. Boettcher motioned to designate the Courier Sentinel as the district’s official newspaper. Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mr. Boettcher was appointed WASB Delegate.

Mrs. Albarado was appointed CESA 10 representative.

Mr. Boettcher made a motion to set standing committee meetings of the board as a whole, for the fourth Monday of each month, at 7 p.m., while leaving regular board meetings on the second Monday of the month, at 7 pm. Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Board of Education School District of Cadott Community High School LMC Regular Meeting May 11, 2020 The following members were present: Donna Albarado, Brad Sonnentag, Alan Sonnentag, Cedric Boettcher, Becca Blanchette, Rod Tegels and Mark Schley.

Also present were: Jenny Starck, Sue Shakal, Julia Wolf, Karita Harvey, Mary Balko, Robin Strzyzewski, Meagan Sonnentag, Pat Mulcahy, Christina Rowe, Susan Schley and Nate Schley.

Mr. Tegels called the meeting to order at 7:46 p.m.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to approve the meeting agenda. Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion carried Mr. Boettcher motioned to approve the following consent agenda. Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag. Motion carried.

a. Approve April 6 – Committee of the Whole meeting and April 13 – regular board meeting minutes.

b. Approve personnel hires/retirements/resignations.

c. Approve financial reports and vouchers Mrs. Starck reported on Meeting of the Committee of the Whole, Strategic Planning meeting with Drew Howick, Kobussen Contract payments, staffing updates, 2020-21 budget updates, 2020 graduation, 2019-20 endof- year grading, student engagement survey, All-Time Best and WASB spring meetings.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to approve Academic Excellence Scholarship winner, Tabitha Sikora. Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion approved.

Mr. Boettcher motioned to approve the Wisconsin Technical Excellence Scholarship Winner, Mitchell Drilling. Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to hold the 2020 graduation ceremony no later than July 10. Motion then amended.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to table the discussion on the graduation ceremony date until more information is given to the district. Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion Carried.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to approve the donations by Tiffanie Janzin, Steve Vuchetich and Jane Koehne toward the student lunch program during school closure. Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mr. Boettcher motioned to approve contracts for continued teaching staff for the 2020-21 school year. Seconded by Mrs. Blanchette. Motion carried.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to approve the grading plan for the remainder of 2019-20 school year. Seconded by Mrs. Blanchette. Motion carried.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to table the approval of the flooring bids. Seconded by Mr. Boettcher. Motion carried.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to approve the blacktop repair/sealant. Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mr. Schley motioned to table the discussion on payments to Kobussen, to review the contract. Seconded by Mrs. Blanchette. Motion carried.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to go into closed session, per State Statute 19.85 (1) (c), to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction, or exercises responsibilitysuperintendent quarterly update. Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion carried 7-0 roll call vote.

School District of Cadott Community Board of Education Committee of the Whole Meeting May 27, 2020 The following members were present: Donna Albarado, Mark Schley, Rod Tegels, Cedric Boettcher, Alan Sonnentag, Becca Blanchette and Brad Sonnentag.

Also attending were Jenny Starck, Sue Shakal, Wally Liepart and Michele Andorfer.

Mr. Tegels called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.

Michele and Wally updated the board on eSucceed charter school.

Discussion was had on the end of the year budget forecast, facilities review and long-term planning, 1-1 technology plan 2020-21, 2020-21 budget update with salary increases, 2020-21 budget update with staffing requests.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to approve the Independent Flooring bid for new tile. Seconded by Mrs. Albarado. Motion carried.

Mr. Schley motioned to table the discussion on the Kobussen contract. Seconded by Mr. Brad Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag motioned to approve the Brickhouse instrument quote. Seconded by Mr. Schley. Motion carried.

Mr. Alan Sonnentag motioned to approve the quote for a new piano. Seconded by Mrs. Blanchette. Motion carried.
