APL - SPECIAL FIRE STORY TIME
Meet at the Abbotsford Public Library on Friday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m. for youth story time. After sharing a story, families can walk or drive to the Abbotsford Fire Station for a tour.
APL - USED BOOK SALE
Used Book Sale at the Abbotsford Public Library Friday, May 2nd through Saturday, May 10th during library hours. Prices by freewill donations that will be put toward library programming.
CCL TECH HELP
Todd Meyer from Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC), will help troubleshoot and assist people at the Tech Class on Tuesday, May 13 from 2-3:30 p.m., including on laptops, tablets, or cell phones. Bring your own device if possible; otherwise, CVTC student laptops will be available for use. The program is offered in partnership with ADRC of Clark County. The tech help is free. HEALTH FAIR - VISION SCREENING
On Saturday, May 17, stop by St. Bernard’s Church at 400 N. 2nd Ave., Abbotsford from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. for a free vision screen and free glasses if you do not have access to glasses. All ages are welcome and no reservations needed. Screening is to get a refraction to see if they have glasses to offer from the donated selection received from the Wisconsin Lions Foundation. OCCUPATION POKER
The adult reading challenge has proven immensely popular with patrons. Pick up a form, read five books or view five movies and return it for a chance to start or improve your poker hand. The challenge runs through the end of 2025.
