Lions plan snowshoe run, outhouse races at Feb. 14 event

The Medford Lions and P-Town Saloon are teaming up for some winter fun with a return of the Perkinstown snowshoe race and the addition of an outhouse race. Both are planned for Saturday, Feb. 14.

My seedlings were already struggling to survive the grip that my compacted raised beds had on them, and the storm that rolled through last week certainly didn’t help. I had to yank the dead seedlings and replace them with new seeds.
