Jeremy Carolofi, network engineer with Country Wireless, spoke to the Gilman Village Board, Jan. 14, about a lease agreement, to install four transmitters on the water tower, to bring more high-speed internet options to the area. In return, the company can pay for the electric used by the transmitters, a flat rate or give in-kind service to the village, for several sites, such as at the sewer plant and park.
