Lee John Brunner, 73, of Stetsonville was traveling northbound on Hwy 13, on December 10, at 7:24 p.m., in the town of Little Black. Brunner’s vehicle crossed the center line and crossed into the oncoming lane, sideswiping a vehicle owned by Mary Payton Burdett, 31, of Marshfield. Brunner continued northbound until he side swiped a vehicle owned by Matthew Steven Redmond, 38, of Arpin. Brunner then entered the southwest ditch. Brunner was issued a citation for operating while under the influence. Brunner and Redmond’s vehicles were towed due to disabling damage.

Faith Mary Elizabeth Long, 30, of Rib Lake, was traveling southbound on Hwy 102, on December 6, at 1:45 p.m., in the town of Rib Lake. Antonio Lawrence Koscinski, 28, of Rib Lake, was also traveling southbound on Hwy 102, following Long’s vehicle. Long slowed and activated her turn signal and proceeded to turn onto West Rib Rd. Koscinski began to pass Long’s vehicle on the left hand side while Long was attempting to make a left hand turn. Koscinski’s vehicle struck Long’s vehicle in the driver’s door causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Koscinski stated that he wasn’t aware that Long had her turn signal activated, however he did not dispute it. Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage. Koscinski was issued three citations for passing vehicle indicating left turn, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and riding in vehicle without wearing a seat belt.

April Ann Larson, 43, of Sheldon, was traveling on S. Gibson St., on December 16, at 12:10 p.m., in the city of Medford. Donald Kent Hardy, 38, of Medford, was backing out of a private driveway. Hardy’s vehicle backed out in front of Larson’s vehicle causing a collision. Some functional damage was done to both vehicles.

Ryan William Hart, 22, of Medford, was traveling northbound on Riverside Terrace, on December 17, at 11:56 a.m., in the City of Medford. Amy Malyn Aileen Writz, 22, of Medford, was traveling southbound on the wrong side of the roadway. Hart was unable to avoid a collision, and struck Writz’s vehicle on the passenger side. Hart’s vehicle had disabling damage due to breaking a steering function from the accident. Writz’s vehicle sustained functional damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. Writz was issued a citation for inattentive driving.

Daniel Charles Lammar, 46, of Stetsonville, was traveling southbound on Crane Dr., on December 11, at 12:30 a.m., in the town of Deer Creek. Lammar attempted to stop at a stop sign but slid through the intersection due to road and weather conditions. Lammar crossed CTH O traveling south and slid down the embankment before coming to rest upright facing east. Lammar’s vehicle was towed but not due to disabling damage. Lammar was issued a citation for failure of operator to notify police of accident.

Gabe Fransen Brunner, 18, of Gilman, was traveling westbound on CTH A-T, on December 9, at 4:51 a.m., in the town of Maplehurst. Brunner’s vehicle hit ice on the road causing it to fishtail. Brunner was unable to correct the vehicle causing it to go into the south side ditch. Brunner’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.

The following car versus deer accidents were reported: Justin Michael Bucki, 25, of Medford, on December 6, at 5:40 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Browning; Brian H. Smith, 62, of Ogema, on December 6, at 5:15 p.m., on Hwy 13, in the town of Chelsea.
