Jeffery Douglas Kalepp, 20, of Withee, pled not guilty and was found guilty at court trial for fishing without license-R and hunt/fish/trap after revocation. Kalepp’s DNR license was revoked for two years. Kalepp is to pay costs of $968.40 directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts Office in full by December 19.

Joseph R. Berger, 37, of Rib Lake, pled no contest to a charge of battery-domestic abuse (infliction of physical pain or injury). Berger entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of one year. Berger must not commit any criminal offenses; and shall notify the Taylor County District Attorney’s Office as well as the Clerk of Court’s office of any address change within ten days of said change. Berger has already written a letter of apology to the victim and must engage in counseling with a provider of his choice to address relationship and anger issues no later than December 17 to the district attorney’s office.

Jill M. Bolz, 67, of Medford, pled no contest and was found guilty of possession of THC. Bolz entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of one year. Bolz shall perform 25 hours of uncompensated community service, proof of completion must be provided to the district attorney’s office no less than 30 days prior to the agreement expiring. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to amend the charge to a county ordinance of possession of marijuana.

Bolz pled no contest and was found guilty of resisting or obstructing an officer. She was ordered to pay a forfeiture of $579. The fines and costs were due to the Taylor County Clerk of Court on October 17. Bolz shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department.

Brendan S. Schauer, 22, of Dorchester, pled no contest to charge of disorderly conduct-domestic. Schauer entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of two years. Schauer shall not commit any criminal offenses and shall notify the Taylor County District Attorney’s Office, as well as the Clerk of Court’s office of any change of address within ten days of said charge. Upon successful completion of this agreement the state will move to dismiss the charge. A charge of criminal damage to property-domestic abuse, was dismissed but read in court.

Schauer pled no contest and was found guilty of disorderly conduct. The forfeiture and costs of $330.50 shall be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court at the rate of $30/month which began on October 18.
