Patience was definitely a virtue in the past week for the Rib Lake baseball team, who drew 31 walks in three wins, the last of which was a 17-0 drubbing of a young Phillips squad Tuesday evening.

Excited children couldn’t get into the building fast enough as the Grand Gilman Theater, Western Taylor County Public Library, Taylor County Literacy Council, Friends of the Library and the Gilman CBA teamed up to provide the community with a free viewing of The Polar Express on Saturday, Dec. 14.
