November Senior Dining Menu announced
The menu for the month of November has been announced for the Senior Dining Centers of the Taylor County Commission on Aging. Persons 60 years and older and spouse, regardless of age, are welcome to participate in the noon meals.
In Jump River, meals are served at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Jump River Community Center. In Medford, meals are served at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the Medford Senior Dining Center. In Gilman, meals are served at noon Monday through Thursday at the Gilman Senior Center. Meals are served in Goodrich at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at Royal Gaits Arena & Stables. In Stetsonville, meals are served at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday at the Centennial Community Center. Meals are served in Rib Lake at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at the Rib Lake Senior Center. In Westboro meals are served at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday at the VFW Hall. Medford, Stetsonville, Westboro, Rib Lake, Jump River and Goodrich Menu Week of November 1—Tuesday, Ham on marble rye with romaine leaf & tomato slice, mayo, minestrone soup, peach slices; Wednesday, Shepherd’s pie, mashed potatoes, cauliflower, biscuit, gingerbread cake; Thursday, Seasoned baked fish, parsley buttered potatoes, carrots, rye bread, banana; Friday, Chicken broccoli casserole, pacific veggie blend, whole wheat bread, grape juice, strawberries & yogurt.
Week of November 7—Monday, Turkey sandwich on wheat bread with lettuce & tomato, cream of broccoli soup, peach slices, cookie; Tuesday, Beef stroganoff, mashed potatoes, broccoli & cauliflower, biscuit, fresh grapes; Wednesday, Spaghetti & meat sauce, mixed greens, dressing, garlic breadstick, mandarin oranges, pineapple cake; Thursday, Pulled pork on a bun, scalloped potatoes, creamy coleslaw, honey bee fruit salad; Friday, Mexican chicken rice casserole, corn & black bean salad, sliced pears, banana cake.
Week of November 14—Monday, Tuna noodle casserole, carrots, rye bread, diced fruit mix, beetnik chocolate cake; Tuesday, Chicken breast, mushroom & bacon sauce, brown rice, brussels sprouts, apple slices and raisin cookie; Wednesday, Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, squash, multi-grain bread, vanilla yogurt & berries; Thursday, Egg, sausage & cheese breakfast bake, seasoned potatoes, steamed broccoli, mini muffin, diced fruit mix; Friday, Sloppy Joe on a bun, roasted potatoes, baked beans, and grape salad.
Week of November 21—Monday, Lemon & Pepper fish, baby red potatoes, broccoli, rye bread, and banana; Tuesday, Sliced turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie bar; Wednesday, Ham and scalloped potatoes, peas, pineapple, multi-grain bread, chocolate pudding; Thursday, closed for Thanksgiving holiday, Friday, closed for Thanksgiving holiday.

Week of November 14—Monday, Taco bake with chips lettuce, tomatoes and black olives, peaches, cookie; Tuesday, BBQ Ribs, scalloped potatoes, peas, fruit cocktail, peanut butter bar; Wednesday, Chicken parmesan with noodles, corn, apricots, tapioca pudding; Thursday, Baked fish, baked potato, coleslaw, pineapple, s’mores bar.
