Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics recognizes milestone 2020, outstanding employees

Aspirus Medford Hospital & Clinics holds an annual banquet to recognize employees and volunteers for their extraordinary work. This year’s banquet, scheduled for May 6, was canceled due to the Safer-at-Home orders.

Aspirus Medford Hospital & Clinics recognizes the following accomplishments: DAISY Award Honoree

Registered nurse Mallory Anderson works in the Birthing Center at Aspirus Medford Hospital. She was selected to be this year’s honoree for the DAISY award. The DAISY award recognizes the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

The nomination states: “I have worked with Mallory for the past six years in the Birthing Center, and I believe she deserves to be awarded for her top-notch knowledge and patient care. Mallory displays such intelligence and compassion when working with patients while simultaneously being very respectful towards her peers and providers. She does not hesitate to help in the operating room in cases of emergency c-sections, and I have witnessed her do an excellent job in mentoring new nurses. Recently, Mallory was expecting her third child and worked all day to deliver a patient’s baby. She went home that day only to return in labor herself! I want to nominate Mallory for this prestigious award on behalf of all patients and fellow colleagues.”
