Sarah and Kyle Von Loh of Westboro announce the birth of a daughter, Danni Mae, born on Dec. 17, 2019 at Aspirus Women’s Health Birthing Center at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She weighed four pounds, three ounces and was 17.5 inches long.
Brougan and Brett Milbradt of Wausau announce the birth of a daughter, Arya Layne, born on Dec. 18, 2019 at Aspirus Women’s Health Birthing Center at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She weighed eight pounds, two ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
Liam (left) and Tommy Wilson along with their parents Tom and Heather Wilson of Landenberg, Penn. visited The Star News on Jan. 2. They were in Medford to visit their aunt and uncle Kim and Brian Wilson and cousins Alex and Elizabeth. While in Medford they learned how to curl, went snowshoeing at the Campus Woods Trail and took a tour of The Star News to learn how newspapers are made.

Katie (Gebert) and Drew Smola of Medford announce the birth of a daughter, Dottie Marie, born on Dec. 26, 2019 at Aspirus Medford Hospital - Birthing Center. She weighed eight pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. She joins a brother, Lincoln, age three. Her grandparents are George Smola III of Rib Lake, Mike and Lisa Haase of Wausau and Hoss and Jane Ostrowski of Kronenwetter. Her great-grandparents are George and Janet Smola of Athens, Jerry and Lynne Wojner of Abbotsford and Mary Ann Dassow of Medford.
Axel Rodney Fallos Rhett Charles Doro
Kenzie Rogers and Joseph Fallos of Rib Lake announce the birth of a son, Axel Rodney, born on Dec. 20, 2019 at Aspirus Medford Hospital - Birthing Center. He weighed eight pounds, three ounces and was 19.5 inches long. He joins siblings, Anayah, age five and Aden, age four. His grandparents are Brenda and Rod Fallos of Rib Lake, Renee Ertz of Texas and Kevin Rogers of Unity. His great-grandparents are Linda and Joseph Kathrein and Arlene Fallos, all of Rib Lake and Lois Rogers of Unity.
Judy and James Doro of Gilman announce the birth of a son, Rhett Charles, born on Dec. 16, 2019 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He weighed nine pounds, 12 ounces and was 22.5 inches long. He joins a brother, Connor, age six and two sisters, Mallory, age four and Odessa, age one and a half. His grandparents are Earl and Diane Stanek of Gilman and Adam and Jill Doro of Holcombe.
