Carla L. Hoople

Carla L. Hoople, 74, Holcombe, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center, in Eau Claire.

Carla was born Sept. 21, 1951, in Ladysmith, the daughter of LaVern and Jennie (DeWitt) Yeager.

She married Roger Hoople, Aug. 16, 1976, at Holcombe United Methodist Church.

Carla worked for ADC Telecommunications, for many years.

She is survived by one son – Jason (Marci) Yeager, Holcombe; two grandsons – Talon and Taye Yeager; two brothers – Richard (Audrey) Yeager, Holcombe, and Kevin (Donna) Yeager, New Prague, Minn.; two sisters – Linda (Mark) Malisheski, Owen, and Marlene Kurth, Brooklyn Park, Minn.; many cousins; nieces and nephews; her aunt – Margaret Elsner, Medina, Minn.; and her beloved cat – Copper.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Roger, Jan. 14, 2023; her parents; two brothers – Larry and Roger Garms; brother-in-law – Ronald Kurth; niece – Jodi Kurth; and nephew – Joshua Malisheski; A memorial service is at a later date. Horan Funeral Home, in Chippewa Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
