Crystal Brost
Crystal Rose Brost, age 42, of Marshfield, formerly of Unity, was welcomed into her heavenly home on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, surrounded by the deep love of her family and under the compassionate care of Compassus Hospice at House of the Dove in Marshfield.
Crystal was bom on November 24, 1983, to Mark Rogers and Rosalee Brost. From early in her life, Crystal faced medical challenges that shaped her remarkable journey. Through her gentle spirit and tender heart, she had a unique ability to touch everyone she met. Often described as an “angel on earth,” Crystal taught those around her powerful lessons in patience, kindness, compassion and unconditional love. Her presence brought comfort, softened hearts and reminded others of what truly matters in life.
A proud member of the Colby High School Class of 2005, Crystal embraced each day with a joyful, childlike wonder. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her family listening to the comforting roar of an engine, recognizing the familiar voices and special sounds of loved ones and enjoying ice cream, especially in her younger years. These small moments brought her great delight and became treasured memories for those who shared them with her.
Family was the center of Crystal’s world. She was deeply loved and lovingly cared for by those around her and in return, she gave endless affection, smiles and quiet strength. Her life was a beautiful reminder of how love can overcome every challenge.
Crystal is survived by her father, Mark Rogers of Unity; her mother, Rosalee (Brad Seefeld) Rogers of Unity; her siblings: Melissa Brost, Brandon Brost, Kenneth Rogers, Felicia (Brandon) Kuyoth and Daytona Rogers; her cherished nephews: Tucker, Theodore and Carson; her beloved nieces: Doiy and Faith; her great-niece, Aurora; and her paternal grandmother, Lois Rogers of Unity. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gaylen Rogers; her maternal grandparents, Vernon Brost and Linda (Lany) Knutson; her uncle, Gary Rogers; and her cousins: Dustin and Hillary Rogers.
A celebration of Crystal’s life will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a time of sharing memories at 3 p.m., on Saturday Feb. 14, 2026, at Unity Memorial Hall.
