Alice Weiler
She was born December 9, 1931, in Wausau, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Niewolny) Kremsreiter. On December 5, 1951, she married Donald J. Weiler at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar, and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2006.
Alice loved gardening, canning, cooking, baking, camping, fishing, playing cards, polka dancing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children: Bonnie (Terry) Leffel, Richard Weiler, Donna Jean Weiler, Rita (David) Stevens, Calvin Weiler, Gail Weiler, Tammy Weiler and Julie (Scott) Jensen; daughter-in-law, Donalyn Weiler; 36 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, 25 greatgreat- grandchildren; siblings: Shirley (Tom) VonLoh, Diane Dahl, Lola (Gary) RadlofT, Judy Riemer, Mary Lou Kremsreiter, Ronald (Marlene) Kremsreiter, Raymond (Kathy) Kremsreiter, Dennis (Rita) Kremsreiter and Harlen (Lori) Kremsreiter.
Besides her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, children: Allen “Butch”, Linda, Pam and Loralyn “Lorrie”; grandchildren: Shawn and Kurt Wogernese and Dustin Weiler; greatgrandchild, David Weiler; siblings: William Kremsreiter Jr., Roger Kremsreiter and Eugene Kremsreiter, and son-in-law, John P. Cullen.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, at St, Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Rev. George Graham will preside. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, all at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens.
