Doris Weber

Doris Ann (Dix) Weber, 96, Stratford, passed away January 14, 2026, at Three Oaks Health Services, Marshfield.

A visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 20, from 6-8 p.m. at the Sauter-Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford and the service on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Zion Lutheran Church in Stratford at 11 a.m. with Rev. Amy Heinz presiding. Burial followed at Zion Cemetery, Stratford. Pallbearers were Michael Weber, Angela Eckes, Clint Hager, Jennifer Tuscher-Hurd, Tyler Weber and Jordan Weber. A visitation prior to the church service was held at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford.

Doris was born on February 12,1929, on the family farm in Fenwood, to Judith A. (Keller) Dix and Arthur J. Dix. She graduated from Stratford High School, class of 1947. She was united in marriage to Dennis E. Weber of Stratford on September 20, 1947. The couple later divorced. Dennis passed away March 31,1988.

Doris is survived by her devoted friend of 40 years, Lester Lueddecke of Stratford; sister, Nancy Lembcke, Yuma, Ariz.; brother-in-law, Lyle Pupp, Stratford; and her four children: David Weber, Stratford, Dawn (Gary) Bahr, Belleville, Dixie-Lee Weber, Marshfield and Daniel Weber (Kerry Breu), Marshfield; grandchildren: Michael (Joy) Weber, Stratford, Angela (Brian) Eckes, Greenwood, Clint Hager, Marshfield, Jennifer Tuscher-Hurd (Tyler Hurd), Waukesha, Autumn Hager, Marshfield and Tyler and Jordan Weber, Stratford; greatgrandchildren: Dylan, Cody, Bailey, Bryce and Trey Eckes, Greenwood, Brayden, Blake and Brody Weber, Stratford and Kaylyn Trautman (Dehl Redmann), Edgar, Adia Hager, Milo and Iris Hager-Jones, Marshfield, and Wyatt Weber, Wausau; and great-great-granddaughter, Willow Trautman, Edgar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Judith Dix and sister, Mary Ann (Don) Angus.
