Thomas Pietrowski
Thomas (Tom) Pietrowski, passed away January 1, 2026.
Tom was born September 16, 1947, to Joe and Violet Pietrowski. Growing up on a farm in Poniatowski, Tom loved doing field work on the John Deere tractors, a passion he carried with him throughout his life.
Tom enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1966 and served until 1972. He was very proud to serve his country. At the age of 16, Tom began his career as a truck driver. Throughout his life he drove log trucks, dump trucks and over the road. Tom owned several of his own trucks before taking a job with Tombstone Pizza (Kraft). He retired from Kraft in 2009.
Driving truck was more than a job for Tom. He loved visiting new places and meeting new people and always came home to his family with a story to tell of his adventures.
After retiring from driving truck, Tom was a driver for the Amish and made many friends in the Amish community.
Tom had a larger-than-life personality. He could start a conversation with anyone, and he was always there to lend a hand to those in need. He always knew how to make people laugh.
Tom loved fast cars. He was a huge fan of racing, cars and snowmobiles. He also enjoyed snowmobiling with his family, deer hunting, and fishing with his kids and grandkids, as well as restoring his John Deere B tractor.
Tom is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter, Terry Pietrowski-Borchardt (Ron); sons: Scott (Lisa) Pietrowski and Tom (Tiffany) Pietrowski, and daughter, Amanda (Rick) Seubert; brother, Roger (Zsanna) Pietrowski; sister, Sue Pietrowski; his nine grandchildren: Maggie Mae (Jake) Eichhorn, Kenny Pietrowski, Vanesse (Adam) Witt, Richie (Mackenzie) Seubert, Nathan Seubert, Piper Pietrowski, Parker Pietrowski, Paxton Pietrowski and Addyson Pietrowski-Borchardt; three great-grandchildren: Amara Witt, Richard Seubert III and Wyatt Witt; two nephews: Peter (DeAnne) Pietrowski and Chantz (Nikki) Barnett; brothers-in-law: Steven Brinkman and Todd (Ellen) Brinkman, and sister-in-law Norma (Bob) Nowak.
