Eugenia “June” Rose (Vlasnik) Billings

Eugenia “June” Rose (Vlasnik) Billings, 88, passed away peacefully at her home, Sept. 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

June was born Dec. 24, 1936, to Rose and Rudolph Vlasnik, and was raised in Cadott, where she spent most of her life.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was the heart of a large and loving family.

June loved farming with her dad, hosting family gettogethers, playing BINGO, dancing, cooking and baking, always ready to feed an army with a warm smile and open arms. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter and delicious food.

She is survived by her partner – Alan Lund; sons – Kenny, Kevin, Mark, Mike (Cassie), Duane and Donny Walters; daughters – Tammy Barrell and Tina (Jamie) Schmitt; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life – Marshall Billings, whom she was married to for over 25 years; parents – Rose (Buresh) and Rudolph Vlasnik; sons – Dennis, Gary and Laverne Walters; granddaughter – Katie Walters; and son-in-law – Wayne Barrell.

Her warmth, strength and devotion to family, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life is at the Bohemian Hall in Cadott, Sunday, Oct. 19, from 2-6 p.m. Come share memories, look at old photos and enjoy some food, as we celebrate the life of June.
