Elvin James Doberstein

1960-2026

Elvin James Doberstein, 65, of Withee, died March 13, 2026 at Clark County Rehab and Living Center. Cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held. Elvin loved the outdoors from hunting and fishing to cutting firewood. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a very hard worker throughout his life until the time of retirement. His grandson, Aiden, was his pride and joy. When he was having a bad day he would go to the farm to get his Aiden fix.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Elizabeth Doberstein (Taylor Doberstein); grandchild, Aiden Doberstein; best friend, Julie Wasylko; brothers, Dennis William and Daniel (Rose) Doberstein; and sister, Brenda Doberstein. Elvin is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Elvin was preceded in death by his son, Eric Doberstein; parents, Julius and Nancy Doberstein; and brother, Carl Doberstein, in infancy.
