Holly Joy Lukes

Holly Joy Lukes, 64, of Sheldon, died on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on May 9, 1961 in Ladysmith to Harold Junior and Delores June (Gorla) Biller. Holly was a lifelong resident of Sheldon. She married Robert Lukes on Sept. 10, 1979 in Medford. She was a member of the Upper Peninsula Muzzle Loaders Association, the Hivernann Muzzle Loader Club, Hidden Prairie Rendezvous. She enjoyed metal detecting in the mines in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; three sons, Robert (Andrea) Lukes, of Appleton, Terry and special friend Suzan, of Westboro, and Clayton & Krista, of Kennan; eight grandchildren; one brother, Duane Louis Biller, of Glen Flora; and three sisters, Yvonne and Mike Podolak, of Gilman, Julie Jennes and Kris Cason, both of Sheldon.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025 at Jump River Community Center with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday at Jump River Community Center.
