Myron Lester Siemek


1949-2025
Myron Lester Siemek, 75, of Cadott, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at his residence. Myron was born in Stanley, on Sept. 20, 1949 to Max M. and Charlotte K, (nee Doege) Siemek. Myron survived life-threatening spinal meningitis when he was six months old and at the age of 6 was placed at the northern Wisconsin care facility to meet his ongoing needs. Myron spent the last 30 years at an adult group home in Cadott. He was lovingly cared for by the devoted staff, who considered him a very special person. Myron also enjoyed brief visits from his brothers and sisters. They ioved him dearly and always kept a watchful eye on him since he was a little boy on the farm.
Myron was preceded in death by his father, Max, in February of 1986; his mother, Charlotte, in October of 2019; brother-in-law, Bill Grunseth; nephewin- law, Jed Thorgerson; and great-nephew, Hunter Ried.
Myron Siemek is survived by his two sisters, Eileen Grunseth of Chippewa Falls, Sharon (Clarence) Ludvrig of Medford; and three brothers, Leslie (friend Sherry) Siemek of Neenah, Lindy (Julie) Siemek of Sheldon, and Max (Dorothy) Siemek of Knoxville, Tenn.; an aunt, Grace (nee Doege) Huberty of Dallas, Ga.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private family service and burial officiated by Reverend Gary Paul will be held.
Plombon Funeral Home of Stanley is assisting the family with the arrangements.
