Janet A. Doriot

Janet A. Doriot, 90, of Medford, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022 at Rib Lake Health Services. No services will be held per Janet’s wishes. A private burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Janet was born on Nov. 7, 1931 to Al and Mildred (Graff) Cherney in Medford. Her marriage to John “Don” D. Doriot took place on July 30, 1955 in Medford. Janet was employed by Weather Shield until her retirement.

Janet is survived by her sister, Judy (Allen) Luebeck of New London; nephews, Guy and Jay Nelson; great-nieces and nephews; and son-in-law David Johnson.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Don in 1998; son, Jon Michael in 1973; daughter, Jolie Ann Johnson in 1991; sister, Joyce Nelson; niece, Sandra Kremsreiter; and nephew, Mark Nelson.

Memorial donations in Janet’s name may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice or Hope Hospice.
