Yvonne F. Brunner, 72, of Perkinstown, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021 at Aspirus Hospital, Medford.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 26 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Medford with Rev. Amy Heinz officiating. Interment will follow at Molitor

Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Friday at the church.

Yvonne was born March 24, 1949 in Rice Lake to Cyril and Opal (Murray) Mancel. She graduated from Altoona High School, then earned an Associate’s Degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota.

On March 26, 1977, Yvonne married Bruce Brunner in Withee. They resided in Perkinstown for most of their marriage. Yvonne worked as a realtor in the Medford area and owned and operated Northwoods Realty for many years. She also worked for Catholic Charities, helping with bookkeeping and other areas of management.

In her leisure, Yvonne liked to fish, hunt, take photos and was always helping people. Her most precious time was that spent with her family. Her family meant the world to her and she always put everyone ahead of herself.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce of Perkinstown; three children, Catherine (Jake) Beilfuss of Medford, Carol (Lonnie) Nelson of Colby, Jeremy (Jennifer) Brunner of Medford; two brothers, Arliegh Leach of Medford, Leroy (Carin) Leach of Mauston; grandchildren, Kyle Firnstahl, Amanda (Jim) Newby, Jessica (Travis) Augustine, Tyler (Amanda) Firnstahl, Veronica (Colton) Belding, Brittney (Patrick) Radlinger, Bobbi Jo (Shawn Peterson) Nelson, Nathan Levenhagen, Megan Brunner, Matthew Brunner, Brandon Brunner; nine great-grandchildren, Khloie, Carter, Addison, Kya, Ava, Remi, Claira, Kentley, Harper; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cyril Mancel; mother and stepfather, Opal and Lawrence Cardinal; and two brothers, Earl and Jerry Leach.
