Caroline Quante

1938-2021

Caroline Quante, 83, of Medford died peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 with her son by her side and under the care of Hope Hospice. At Caroline’s request, no services will be held.

She was born Nov. 5, 1938 to Bill and Martha (Sachse) Krueger. After graduating from Medford High School in 1957, she worked for a time in Milwaukee.

She married the love of her life, Willard Quante on Dec. 31, 1959. During her married life, she worked at Phillips Plastics, Silverman Fur Co., and retired in 2002 from Hurd Millwork. She enjoyed outdoor grilling with friends, gardening, painting landscapes, and reading western pioneer books.

Caroline is survived by one son, Bruce of Medford; a grandson, Jordan of Michigan; a sister, Lillian; and a brother, Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard; granddaughter, Amber; two sisters, Darlene and Leona; and two brothers, Billy and Leonard.
