Jason Paul Stegar, 40, of Stanley, was traveling westbound on CTH F, in the town of Taft, on November 9, at 2:58 a.m. when he struck a cow in the roadway. Stegar attempted to stop, causing skid marks, and came to rest in the yard of W16561 CTH F. Stegar’s vehicle had extensive front end damage, and vehicle was able to be driven away from the scene.

Lisa Mae Donnerbauer, 40, of Dallas, was traveling westbound on Hwy 64, on November 4, at 8:23 p.m. A cow was in the roadway, Donnerbauer hit the cow, afterward the cow continued to walk across the road. The cow was owned by Roger Daniel Nichols of Gilman.

Stephanie Elizabeth Blume, 23, of Medford, was driving on Castle Rd., in the town of Medford, on November 4, at 6:25 p.m., when she ran off the roadway. A citation of operating while under the influence was issued. No injuries were reported.

Rakell Marie Boie, 25, of Lublin, was traveling westbound on Hwy 73, on November 6, at 3:30 a.m., in the town of Roosevelt, when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the north ditch. Boie’s vehicle remained in motion for a distance before coming to rest in the ditch facing north. Citations of operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failing to notify police of accident (2nd +), were issued.

Adam John Waltenberg, 38 of Stevens Point, was driving a semi truck owned by FedEx Freight Inc., on November 9, at 1:49 p.m., in the city of Medford, from the post office exit. Waltenberg was turning right onto Hwy 64, when he struck the railroad crossing warning lights. Improper turn was a reason for the accident, according to the report. Warning lights had to be reinstalled as a result of this collision.

Anthony Robert Doucette, 20, of Medford, and Kathleen F. Mead, 70, of Ogema, were both driving northbound on 8th St., on November 10, at 5:30 p.m., in the city of Medford. Mead did not see any vehicles in the right lane and attempted to turn into the right lane without her turn signal. Doucette used his horn to alert Mead of his presence. Mead came into contact with Doucette, which caused him to hit the right hand curb. Mead stated that she did not hear her vehicle coming into contact with Doucette’s. Damage was done to Doucette’s driver side doors, fender, passenger side tires, and possibly front brush guard. Damage was also done to Mead’s passenger side doors.

Logan Robert Arthur, 21, of Cable, was stopped at the traffic light on Hwy 13, on November 5, at 5 p.m., in the town of Medford. The light had turned green and Arthur began to pass through the intersection, traveling southbound. Trudy A. Baxter, 40, of Dorchester was behind Arthur. Baxter said she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal. The front of Baxter’s car hit the rear of Arthur’s car. Baxter was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without insurance. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

The following car vs. deer accidents were reported: Mikaela Marlene Snyder, 24, of Holcombe, on November 7, at 6:30 a.m., on CTH H, in the town of Taft; Daniel David Ziaya, 43, of Marshfield on November 7, at 7:01 p.m., on Hwy 13, in the town of Little Black; Humberto Lopez Rosales, 30, of Owen, on November 8, at 5:34 a.m., on CTH DD, in the town of Holway; Lisa Marie Kraemer, 43, of Medford, on November 8, at 9:02 a.m., on Castle Rd., in the town of Medford; Denice Lynn Poetzl, 49, of Meford, on November 9, at 6:40 a.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Hammel; Vanessa Charlene Schlueter, 30, of Rib Lake, on November 3, at 5:15 a.m., on Hwy 97, in the town of Goodrich; Amy C. Spencer, 52, of Medford, on November 3, at 8:20 a.m., on CTH H, in the town of McKinley; Steven Shane Busse, 25, of Rib Lake, on November 3, at 6:44 p.m., on Wellington Dr., in the town of Rib Lake; Jumatatu D. Reed, 45, Tallahassee, FL, on November 4, at 3:38 p.m., on CTH E, in the town of Holway;

Bryer Joseph Nichols, 23, of Gilman, was heading eastbound, on Miller Ave., in the town of Aurora, on October 31, at 6:41 a.m. Nichols stopped on the railroad tracks and was struck by a train heading southbound. He was thrown into the south ditch. Nichols stated that he had been drinking and fell asleep. Nichols was issued a citation of operating while under the influence.
