Rita Helding Rita Helding

Rita Victoria Helding, 84, of Weston and formerly of Rib Falls and Edgar, passed away on November 30, 2020.

Rita is survived by her five daughters: Lynn (Donald) Southworth of Marathon, Kim (Tom) Peacock of Janesville, Lori (Gerald) Heil of Edgar, Luann (Pat) Doll of Hartford and Lee Ann (Brian) Riehle of Trempealeau. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren: Maria (John) Zrucky, Emily Doty, Melissa (Jim) Soczka, Abby Southworth, Jeremy (Rachelle) Peacock, Tony (Terri) Peacock, Tara (Brian) Radtke, Tessa (Jack) Knetter, Lucas (Brandi) Michlig, Logan (Danielle) Michlig, Brandon Riehle, Nathan Riehle, and 23 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband Tim, Rita was preceded in death by all of her siblings and her great-granddaughter, Isis Michlig.

In lieu of a funeral service last November, a Celebration of Life will be held June 5, 2021, at the Oak Street Park in Edgar from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., with a tribute to Rita at 11:30 a.m. Old friends and neighbors are welcome to join the family in celebration of a life well-lived.
