In remembrance of Sylvester (Sy) Altfillisch, who passed away on March 30, 2020, his family will be hosting a celebration of Sy’s life on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020.

Sy’s family would like to invite all family and friends to join them for a prayer service to be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery on Hwy. A in Hamburg at 10:30 a.m. After the prayer service, there will be a luncheon to follow at the Hamburg town hall for everyone to gather and share their favorite Sy memories. Because Sy’s favorite color was blue, the family asks that all attending to wear their favorite shade of blue.
