Duane Broeske

with the Duane R. Broeske, age 76, of Stetsonville, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church at a later date. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in____________ Abbotsford is entrusted arrangements.

Duane was born on July 16, 1949, the son of Eugene and Florence (Stauner) Broeske in Medford. He graduated from Abbotsford High School. Duane was married to Marlene Roehl and they later divorced. He was also married to Sharon Nezvel and they later divorced. Duane farmed in the Town of Mayville for many years and after retiring moved near Stetsonville.

Duane enjoyed gardening, taking care of his lawn and collected antiques. He volunteered wherever needed and was active in the FFA Alumni.

Duane is survived by his three brothers and one sister: David (Linda) Broeske of Dorchester, Jean Beisner of Colby, James Broeske of Owen and Donald Broeske of Rib Lake; one brother-in-law: Melvin Stuttgen of Colby; eleven nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Carol Stuttgen and Marilyn Broeske; one brother-in-law: Dennis Beisner; one sister-in-law: Cheryl Broeske.
