She enjoyed gardening, especially growing geraniums and dahlias and African Violets. She collected frogs and loved the saying, “Better to have laugh wrinkles, than worry warts,” which she truly upheld with her love for telling jokes. She loved to bake and cook and share with family and friends. Often calling Susan at work leaving a message for her that she baked her some bars that she could come and pick up. If you stayed overnight and were lucky enough to get her delicious pancakes they would be cut for you as well. Customers coming to the house most likely did not leave without coffee and a bit of dessert.
